Delaware Crime Prevention Act

From Floyd McDowell:

I would like to make a request on behalf of our growing Delaware Crime Prevention and Rehabilitation Coalition that’s supporting our Delaware Crime Prevention Act, soon to be introduced in our State Legislator by Senator Henry. The request is to attend the Re-Entry Public Hearing on Tuesday evening, April 14th from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. At the last meeting a few weeks ago over 200 attended with many having to stand. Comments and recommendations were many from those in attendance. Our specific request is to make a statement to the Panel expressing support for our program and cost effective Act which is a comprehensive investment in reducing crime, restoring more offenders to useful, law-abiding lives and saving hundreds of millions of taxpayer funds in future prison construction and operating costs. Thanks for considering our request.
