Delmarva currently serves:

• 501,000 electric delivery customers (in the Delmarva peninsula)
• 312,000 Delaware electric customers

• Typical residential customer uses 1000kwh/month
• Typical monthly bill: $141.23

Delmarva’s Electric Rate Increase Requests for the Past Three Years

2011 (Docket No. 09-414)

• Request: $27.6 million
• Approved: $17 million
• Customer impact: data not available

2012 (Docket No. 11-528)

• Request: $33 million
• Approved: $22 million
• Customer impact: $4.49/month
• Note: An additional $16.8 million for smart meter replacement is expected to be phased in later in 2013 and 2014.

2013 (Docket No. 13-115)

• Request: $42 million
• Approved: N/A (Request not yet approved by PSC)
• Customer impact: If approved in full, would raise average customer’s bill by $7.63/month
